What to expect.

CMG knows that remodeling can be intense. As such, we’ve designed a process that minimizes stress for you, our clients, by giving you the information you need to make informed decisions. We work as a team with architects and engineers under our flexible framework to ensure that we meet and exceed your functional, aesthetic, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.

Much of the work that takes place to ensure success happens before ground is broken or a power tool is plugged in. While each project scope is different, CMG makes sure that projects can be built for the cost, time, and quality you expect by looking at the following areas:

  • -        A plan review with an eye toward your local Planning & Zoning requirements
  • -        A plan review with an eye toward gaining cost and time efficiencies
  • -        An exploration of cost alternatives in key areas (materials, subcontracted resources, etc.)
  • -        Feasibility studies for special situations such as hillside soil stabilization or well water recommendations
  • -        A project-specific exploration of sustainable building practices and materials
  • -        Full competitive bids from cost-intensive subcontractors
  • -        Completing permit applications and following through to acceptance of all required permits

During the project itself, we meet with you (and the key members of the team, as needed) on a weekly basis to keep you appraised of our progress, any potential changes that may need to be made, and any potential areas that may adversely effect the project budget. At least one CMG owner attends every project meeting. We understand that our clients expect excellence, and our presence helps ensure that we deliver, knowing that the projects will continue to perform at the same level of installation quality for many years to come.
